Book a tour with Amanda

Whether you are coming to Madrid for the first time, have just arrived, been here previously, or have been here for days…

Join me on my classic tour of the historic center, where history comes to life through its art, architecture, and stories. As we wander, you’ll experience Madrid beyond the surface, uncovering Madrid hidden gems and getting a feel for the city as you explore with locals.

Curious about Spanish cuisine tours? Want to taste and learn how and where to eat in the city? Enhance your journey with an hour-long tapas and beverage tour, immersing yourself in Madrid food experiences and the rich flavors of local gastronomy.

If you are interested in a different experience, I can design a themed tour through an off the beaten path neighborhood.

I will also give you practical tools for your stay in Madrid on your own including gastronomic recommendations.

When you book, let me know if there is something that piques your interest and I can highlight it on our tour. Here’s what I got to do and share with some of my tour members:

I took two teenagers who love football (soccer) with their family to see where the two Madrid teams celebrate their victories and we got to talk about the star players.

A woman wanted to surprise her husband with a Flamenco dance class, and so I organized the reservation and ended our tour there!

A woman and her niece were bakers, so we did a historical tour connecting pastry shops and bakeries and discovering local and seasonal baked goods.

A group of three couples was intrigued with the Spanish Civil War and history, and so we made some extra loops on our visit to speak more in depth about the events.

Amanda was an excellent tour guide.

She was knowledgeable about the cities, and she was approachable at all times. She was calm and reassuring about our abilities to explore on our own during our free time.
Sue (Aurora, IL)

My wife and I, as well as our friends found the 3 hour tour the best part of our visit to Madrid.

Her account of the history and development of Madrid brought the city to life for us. Also, her charm and attentiveness to our needs during the tour were much appreciated. We all hope to her you on our next visit to Madrid.

In a word, amazing.
