Whether you are coming to Madrid for the first time, have just arrived, have visited before, or have already been here for days…
Join me on my private walking tours of Madrid’s historic center, where the city’s history comes to life through its art, architecture, and stories. As we walk together, you’ll experience Madrid beyond the surface, discovering hidden gems and seeing the city through the eyes of someone who has lived here for over 25 years.
If you’re curious about Spanish cuisine tours, we can also explore Madrid’s food culture together. On an optional tapas experience, you’ll taste local flavors, learn how and where Madrileños eat, and enjoy an authentic introduction to Madrid food experiences and everyday gastronomy.
This is not a group tour. It’s not a scripted experience. It’s a private tour designed entirely around you — shaped by your interests, your pace, and your curiosity — and guided by someone who has lived in Madrid for over 25 years and has worked as a Rick Steves guide for more than 20.
If you are looking for something different, I can also design a themed experience through one of Madrid’s off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods, tailored to your interests — whether that’s history, food, culture, or local life.
Along the way, I will also share practical recommendations to help you enjoy Madrid independently, including local restaurants, hidden spots, and insider tips that you won’t find in guidebooks

Travel Consultation
I’ll help you plan your trip to Spain. Share your ideas, book a call, and get personalized written follow-up advice.
No prepayment is required. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let me know in advance. Please make sure you’re booking in your correct time zone. Travel consultation times are confirmed after booking. You’ll receive an email with the next steps and to confirm our session time.
When you book, let me know if there is something that piques your interest and I can highlight it on our tour. Here’s what I got to do and share with some of my tour members:
I took two teenagers who love football (soccer) with their family to see where the two Madrid teams celebrate their victories and we got to talk about the star players.
A woman wanted to surprise her husband with a Flamenco dance class, and so I organized the reservation and ended our tour there!
A woman and her niece were bakers, so we did a historical tour connecting pastry shops and bakeries and discovering local and seasonal baked goods.
A group of three couples was intrigued with the Spanish Civil War and history, and so we made some extra loops on our visit to speak more in depth about the events.
