Spain Travel Consultation
with Amanda

Planning a trip to Spain from abroad can feel overwhelming. Between the time difference, starting from scratch, and trying to make sure your itinerary actually runs smoothly, it’s easy to get lost. One conversation fixes that.

Sounds familiar?

Alhambra is sold out

I know which slots open when and how to navigate the official system.

Train routes feel confusing

Barcelona to Seville? I'll tell you what works and what wastes a full travel day.

Too many cities, too few days

I help you prioritize so you actually enjoy Spain instead of rushing through it.

How it works

I do not work with commissions — ever. Every recommendation is based on what actually works for your trip.

01

Share your ideas

Email me your travel interests, destination ideas, possible dates, and budget. Include anything already planned — lodging, transport, experiences. The more detail, the better.

02

Book your call

We'll schedule a voice or video call. Once confirmed, I'll send payment instructions and a preparation form to finalize the session.

03

I prepare your itinerary

I research your trip and compile recommendations tailored to your schedule, interests, and budget — routes, logistics, bookings, and local tips.

04

45-minute call

We review the itinerary together. You ask everything. I answer directly — no vague suggestions, no upselling, no "it depends" without a reason.

05

Written follow-up

After the call, I'll email you a summary of everything we discussed — routes, bookings, and tips — so you have a clear reference when finalizing plans.

€180

Per session. No upselling.

Most travelers save hours of research and avoid at least one costly mistake.

Common Questions

Three things. First, I research your trip before we speak — so I arrive at the call prepared, not asking you to explain everything from scratch. Second, a 45-minute private video or voice call where I answer everything directly: no vague advice, no upselling, no "it depends" without a reason. Third, a written follow-up email summarizing routes, recommendations, and booking notes — so nothing gets lost and you have a reference to work from. That's it. €180, flat fee.
Often, yes — and this is exactly what most travelers ask me. Almost every itinerary I review has at least one structural issue: a city that doesn't fit the pace, a transit connection that costs a full travel day, or Alhambra tickets that need to be booked now and haven't been. A review session catches those before they become expensive problems in the field. If your plan is solid, I'll tell you so — and we'll use the time on the details that actually matter.
3 to 6 months before your trip is the sweet spot. This matters for a practical reason: Alhambra tickets go on sale exactly 3 months in advance and disappear within hours on popular dates. High-speed train prices in Spain also increase significantly as the travel date approaches. If you book the consultation with enough lead time, I can walk you through the booking strategy before the window closes — not after.
Yes — and this is one of the most common reasons people book a consultation. Alhambra tickets sell out 3 months in advance on a specific schedule that's easy to miss if you don't know when to look. The booking process has rules that catch people off guard: there are different ticket types, a strict 30-minute entry window for the Nasrid Palaces, and a route logic that determines whether you walk 5 kilometers or 10. I know exactly how to navigate all of it. Same for Real Madrid games, flamenco shows, and other experiences that seem impossible to book from abroad.
No — and I think that's actually better for you. I give you the exact links, the right search dates, and the specific steps to follow. You handle the final booking yourself. This means you keep full control over your reservations, you're the one holding the confirmation, and there's no risk of a third-party error on something as critical as an Alhambra entry ticket. My role is to make the process so clear that you can't get it wrong.
No. The consultation is completely independent from any tour. I don't work with commissions — not from hotels, not from tour operators, not from anyone. So there's nothing I gain from steering you toward a particular service. Some clients book a private Madrid tour after the consultation; many don't. Either way, my goal is the same: that you leave Spain having had a trip that actually worked.
If you need to change the date, just let me know before that 24‑hour window and I’ll find another spot for you. f you’re running late, I’ll do my best to wait or shift the session. Cancellations within 48 hours are 50% refundable — by that point I've already done the pre-call research specific to your trip. If something comes up, just let me know as early as possible and we'll find a solution.
